Antarctic Youth Ambassador Program

The vision of AYAP is to create an international youth coalition of passionate Antarctic Adventurers who will champion renewable energy as their path to saving the continent. With our carefully selected team, you will explore the Antarctic Peninsula with our onboard experts and gain firsthand knowledge of the continent’s fragile ecosystem, experience its unique wildlife and observe the magnificent landscape of Antarctica, all while learning about climate change, sustainability and what we can do to protect the last great wilderness on Earth. Alongside the 2041 IAE Program, The AYAP is specifically focused on engaging young people to become a new generation of climate leaders. Young people will be selected from applications submitted from around the world to participate in this unique and inspiring program. Lessons will be learned, tools will be provided and lasting friendships made on this revolutionary journey.

This is not a two week vacation but a lifelong commitment to “change”. When you return home, you will have determined and created a project individually or as part of a group to support local and global programs. The AYAP will go beyond just giving young people information about climate change. It is a structured program aimed at developing young leaders and ensuring that each individual leaves the expedition with the skills, knowledge, confidence and motivation to implement powerful and effective change in their communities. encourage you to explore our website www.2041.com for more information; there you will find videos and a blog of our first ever AYAP Expedition.  We encourage you to apply as soon as possible as places on this expedition are limited.
