‘Coca Cola Live Positively’ in Nepal

Robert Swan was in Kathmandu, Nepal from September 20-23 with Coca Cola promoting sustainability. He visited facilities and discussed the value of sustainability with employees, inspiring them to undertake sustainable actions at work and at home. He suggested that educating and inspiring employees will help companies grow, and emphasized the importance of inspiration, leadership and teamwork. At the ‘Coca Cola Live Positively’ event, Robert suggested to the mountaineers “Please do not litter the mountains and keep them clean to save earth.”

Robert joined Coca Cola to visit the Indreni Children’s Home, an international foundation that sponsors children in Nepal. While visiting the children of Indreni, Robert taught them about land stewardship by picking up litter on a walk into the mountains. Afterwards a small luncheon and party was had with the kids at the orphanage.

While in Kathmandu Robert reunited with IAE Alumni Member, Kripa Shrestha.
