Sky’s Environment Dinner in London

London, UK— Last week Robert Swan returned back to his home base in the UK. At the Groucho Club in London, Rob presented for Sky’s Environment Dinner, an event dedicated to seeing the bigger picture for sustainable business. Predominately, Sky’s Environmental Campaign is focused on Rainforest Rescue in the Amazon, one of the most important regions in the world. Launched in 2009, Sky’s collaboration with WWF is helping the preservation of one billion trees in the Amazon.

Discussing the importance of climate change, Rob’s reflections from his Antarctic expeditions drew motivation for a plan of action and collaboration amongst UK organizations and senior leaders. Founder & CEO of Global Action tweeted, “Went to inspiring talk at Groucho club by Robert Swan first person to walk to both poles. First slide was just white!” Overall, Sky’s Environment Dinner highlighted the importance of living within the limits of our planet and how reducing our carbon footprint is crucial for today.
