Successful Completion of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Half-Marathon

Celebrating its 10th anniversary year, the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon is India’s biggest marathon event. On Sunday, 20 January 2013, Robert Swan and Hasita Bhammar joined 40,000 enthusiastic runners in supporting various social causes. We’re extremely proud to announce that both Robert and Hasita completed the half-marathon in a time of 2:38:48.

Last year, Robert ran the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon to raise money for Hasita Bhammar, IAE 2012. This year, Hasita was determined to run the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon with Robert to support his relentless efforts in India: to bring together ‘Team India’ for IAE 2013.

Here’s what Hasita had to say following the successful completion of the half-marathon: “Running 21 km (13 miles) was not something I had ever imagined but neither was going to Antarctica last year. Robert has been such an inspiration and I really am so grateful to him and the 2041 team for believing in me.”

Again, we congratulate our 2041 Team for all their continuous hard work and success!
